2. What Data We Collect

3. How We Use Data

We use personal data to provide and operate Gigora, create accounts, process bookings and documents, provide support, send service emails and reminders, manage subscriptions and licensing, improve security, maintain backups, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Where UK GDPR or similar privacy laws apply, we rely on contract, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation as appropriate.

5. Customer Data Entered Into Gigora

Gigora users are responsible for the personal data they enter about their own clients, customers, team members, DJs, venues, and collaborators. Where a Gigora customer uses the platform to manage their own clients, that customer may be the data controller and Gigora may act as a data processor.

6. Spotify and Third-Party Integrations

If you connect Spotify or another third-party service, Gigora may process information needed to provide that integration, such as playlist IDs, playlist URLs, access tokens, refresh tokens, and connection status.

7. Contract Signing Records

When a contract is signed through Gigora, we may record the typed signature, signing name, date and time, IP address, user agent, and related booking or contract details.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

Gigora may use cookies, sessions, and local storage to keep users logged in, protect forms, remember preferences, support PWA features, and enable security.

9. Push Notifications

If push notifications are enabled, Gigora may store browser push subscription data so reminders can be sent for calendar events, meetings, playlisting calls, and bookings. You can disable notifications in your browser or device settings.

10. Sharing Data

We may share data with hosting providers, payment processors, email delivery providers, support providers, third-party integrations you choose to connect, and legal or regulatory authorities where required. We do not sell personal data.

11. International Transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where this happens, we aim to use appropriate safeguards where required by law.

12. Data Retention

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide Gigora, support customers, maintain records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and protect legitimate business interests.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data. No system is completely secure. Users are responsible for using strong passwords and protecting their login details.

14. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority.

15. Children's Data

Gigora is intended for business users and is not aimed at children. Users should not knowingly enter children's personal data unless they have a lawful basis and appropriate permission.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will apply from the date shown at the top.
